Audrey Slater

Audrey Slater is a twenty year veteran of the fashion industry. Most recently, she served as fashion director at SHAPE, where she styled the magazine's covers, celebrity features, and fashion portfolios. A passionate fitness enthusiast, Audrey was also the creative force behind the brand's fashion-meets-fitness content, and launched it's Sporty, Sexy, Chic! franchise. She is a sought-after expert on the athletic aesthetic and aspirational active lifestyle fashion.

Prior to joining SHAPE, Audrey was the fashion director at REDBOOK for a decade, overseeing the magazine's fashion content and establishing the brand's voice as the ultimate style destination for real women.  

Audrey has also worked in the fashion departments of Glamour, Twist, and Ladies' Home Journal. She has made numerous television appearances as a fashion expert on Today, Good Morning America and New York Live, and has styled dozens of celebrities and countless real women. She designed costumes for four short films, earned her M.F.A. in fiction writing from Sarah Lawrence College, and keeps closets full of clothes she can't bear to part with in the homes of every one of her living relatives.

Audrey lives in Brooklyn with her family. She has never worn the same outfit twice.
